Maybe the rain delay was divine intervention after all?

Chicago Archbishop Blase Cupich Tweeted out a photo Tuesday morning of Pope Francis holding a Cubs hat and a baseball (h/t DNA Info) to celebrate the World Series championship:

This would be at least the second set of Cubs gear Pope Francis has received in the last year-and-a-half as CSN's David Kaplan delivered a Cubs hat and letter to His Holiness last summer:

Much like the rest of Chicago, Cupich was all-in on the Cubs' run throughout the postseason:
