The Twin Cities just got a dose of…twins.

Antioch sophomore QB Athan Kaliakmanis (6-foot-3, 185 pounds) and his twin brother wide receiver Dino Kaliakmanis (6-foot-2, 185 pounds) both gave the Golden Gophers and head coach P.J. Fleck a verbal commitment Wednesday. They made an unofficial visit to Minnesota and announced the decision on their Twitter accounts.

"Minnesota just felt like home right away," Athan Kaliakmanis said. "I got along great with the coaches at Minnesota. I definitely want to be a part of what Coach (P.J.) Fleck is building up there."

Athan Kaliakmanis had been drawing several scholarship offers from several Power Five schools including Iowa, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. His twin brother Dino was also seeing an increase in his recruiting stock this spring.
