Why it’s never too meaningful to talk about strength or weakness of schedule until seasons are over:
The Bears have 13 different teams on their schedule. Nine of them lost this weekend.
Starting 2-0 has put the Bears in the unofficial Week 2 “playoffs” but since those don’t really count – or exist – there’s no point in mentioning that (oh, wait, I just did).
Taking down the Cincinnati Bengals got the Bears off to a fast start while Green Bay was falling in San Francisco and Minnesota in Detroit.
