SI wrote, "Trading for Brandon Marshall was a potential game-changer, and settling on an extension for Matt Forte means the core of this offense should be around for a few years. On the flip side, the offensive line is still a potential sieve that basically went ignored."
The Bears finished in a tie for first within the NFC North, as the defending division champion Green Bay Packers also received a B. Their signature free agent signing was former Colts center Jeff Saturday.
The Minnesota Vikings came in next with a C-plus, followed by the Detroit Lions, who have yet to sign star linebacker Cliff Avril to a long-term contract.
The Buffalo Bills, who upgraded at defensive end by adding Pro Bowler Mario Williams and former Bear Mark Anderson, were the only team to receive an A rating.
