Stanley Cup champions


WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Chicago Blackhawks left the White House and headed to the airport, bound back for Chicago.


The Blackhawks are returning to the White House.

The team is in transit to our nation's capital to be honored today by President Barack Obama for their Stanley Cup victory. 


In the spring of 2011 the Chicago Blackhawks took their first steps onto the White House’s south lawn, where they were honored by President Barack Obama for winning the 2010 Stanley Cup.
