Chicago is celebrating the Blackhawks' third Stanley Cup win in six seasons, and that includes the city's famous fans.
As the Blackhawks paraded the Stanley Cup around Wrigley Field on Tuesday night, rock guitarist Tom Morello — of Rage Against the Machine fame — was on hand to soak in the scene a night after witnessing the championship victory at the United Center.
"It's so exciting," Morello, a noted Blackhawks and Cubs fan, told CSN's Kelly Crull. "As a Libertyville native, I've been a Blackhawks fan my whole life and was fortunate enough to be in the room last night when they won. It was really one of the most exciting sports experiences of my life.
"Now let's get one in Wrigley."
While that Cubs championship is still 100-plus years in the making, watching the Blackhawks evolve into a hockey dynasty has fans, including Morello, thinking that there might be no quick end to their dominance.

The Blackhawks' re-capturing of the Cup is just a day old, but some are already thinking ahead.

"I say let's go for four," Morello said. "Why not? I know there's going to be some attrition in the offseason, but there's going to be the same core there. And the hidden man on the ice are the fans of Chicago and the Chicago fans everywhere they go, too. And you really can't discount that. There's a reason why they try to keep us from buying tickets in other cities and try to keep our jerseys out: because it has an impact on the game.
"So I'm just waiting for my ring."
