In yet another amped up game between your Chicago Blackhawks and those Crazy Canucks, another ugly incident marred a fun and exciting game.
Vancouver forward Jannik Hansen will have a hearing with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety this afternoon for his hit on Blackhawks right wing Marian Hossa on Tuesday night.
It was a sight all too familiar in Chicago.
As Marian Hossa lay prone on the ice early in the third period on Tuesday night, the bad memories came back for the Chicago Blackhawks -- and probably for Hossa, too.
Corey Crawford skated on his own this morning and defenseman Brent Seabrook is out tonight when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Vancouver Canucks at the United Center.
