Winner-take-all: Cubs, Indians set lineups for the biggest game in baseball history

CLEVELAND - The most important game in baseball history is descending upon Cleveland Wednesday evening.

Can the Cubs turn the Ohio town into their own Believeland, or will the Indians fight through all the pressure and anxiety to come out on top?

As baseball fans around the world debate that topic, the Cubs released their lineup for Game 7 of the World Series.

As expected, there aren't any changes to a lineup that battered the Indians 9-3 in Game 6 Tuesday night.

Here's the way the Cubs will line up behind Kyle Hendricks:

1. Dexter Fowler - CF
2. Kyle Schwarber - DH
3. Kris Bryant - 3B
4. Anthony Rizzo - 1B
5. Ben Zobrist - LF
6. Addison Russell - SS
7. Willson Contreras - C
8. Jason Heyward - RF
9. Javy Baez - 2B

Russell tied a World Series record with six RBI and said afterwards Game 7 would be an opportunity to try to break the record.

Bryant collected four hits while Rizzo continued his torrid pace at the plate and Zobrist maintained his hitting presence in Cleveland after five hits in the first two games of the World Series.

The Cubs threw Aroldis Chapman for 20 pitches in Game 6, but he said he's ready to roll for Game 7 without any restrictions and the Cubs also have a fresh Carl Edwards Jr. in the bullpen.

With Jon Lester and Jake Arrieta making themselves available, Joe Maddon should have plenty of options out of the bullpen alongside Mike Montgomery, who has worked in almost every game in the World Series.

The Indians throw Corey Kluber for the third time in nine days and also inserted Rajai Davis into the lineup in center field over Tyler Naquin, who struggled both offensively and defensively in Game 6.

Here is the complete Indians lineup:

1. Carlos Santana - DH
2. Jason Kipnis - 2B
3. Francisco Lindor - SS
4. Mike Napoli - 1B
5. Jose Ramirez - 3B
6. Lonnie Chisenhall - RF
7. Rajai Davis - CF
8. Coco Crisp - LF
9. Roberto Perez - C

No matter what, tonight, one franchise is going to end an enormous championship drought.

The only question: Will it be Cubs fans or Indians fans in euphoria?
