With plenty of uncertainty this offseason surrounding Tom Thibodeau's status as Bulls head coach, his talented group of assistants could be looking elsewhere for work. And one of those assistants, Andy Greer, may be looking at a promotion.

According to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan has shown "targeted interest" in Greer, as well as ex-New Orleans Pelicans head coach Monty Williams and Portland assistant Nate Tibetts.

Greer has been with the Bulls since 2010, also Thibodeau's first year, after stops with New York, Houston and Memphis. Prior to joining the Bulls staff he was a scout in Portland for two seasons.

Greer also spent more than 20 years coaching at the collegiate level, including three years as an assistant at Northern Illinois and one as the team's interim head coach in 2001.

Last year Greer had interest from first year head coach Steve Kerr to join his staff in Golden State.

Donovan, who spent 19 years with the University of Florida and was hired last month after the Thunder fired Scott Brooks, will keep two assistants - Mark Bryant and Darko Rajakovic - on staff and will bring on former Alabama head coach Anthony Grant.
