20.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 45.3 field-goal percentage, 38.8 3-point percentage, 82.4 free-throw percentage

Projection:

Undrafted

Quotable:

"Pretty humble kid. Still a long process to go, still a long way to go before I can really hold that to myself. I continue to work, do what I can to show my best self and continue to have fun and just enjoy this experience, take it all in."

Fit for the Bulls:

Most mock drafts don't include Thornton, meaning he likely won't be a target for the Bulls in the first or second rounds. But, with Aaron Brooks a free agent, there very well could be a spot open behind Derrick Rose as the backup point guard. Recent seasons have seen that role usually filled by a veteran, though there was the Marquis Teague experiment not too long ago. It doesn't mean Thornton, who is a smallish point guard, will fill that role, but there could be some member of this rookie class who at least gets a preseason look at that position.
