As expected, the White Sox activated Paul Konerko from the disabled list Monday.

The veteran first baseman had been on the DL since July 3 with a lower back strain that caused him to miss a stretch of games from June 25-30.
Konerko rehabbed with Double-A Birmingham from July 18-20.

On the season, the 37-year-old is hitting .249/.314/.368, a far cry from his career .282/.358/.495 slash line.
