White Sox bench coach Mark Parent was ejected by crew chief Jerry Lane during the lineup exchange before the game. It was Parent’s second ejection of the year

“I remember Ozzie did it one time,” Sox manager Robin Ventura said after the game. “But, yeah, it was just something from last night. It's over.”

Parent might have still been hot about Alexei Ramirez getting thrown out at home Saturday despite beating the throw to the plate. Rangers catcher A.J. Pierzynski blocked the plate, and Ramirez was called out.

Asked if it felt good for Parent to get whatever it was off his chest, Ventura said: “I don't know. I haven't talked to him yet. I would imagine.”

Adam Dunn was asked if he knew what Parent said.

"I think he was asking for his address to send him a Christmas card or something,” Dunn said.
