White Sox reinstate Viciedo from DL

After being placed on the 15-day disabled list back on April 20, Dayan Viciedo will be making his return to the White Sox following a rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte. To make room for him, outfielder Jordan Danks has been optioned to Charlotte.

Viciedo was placed on the DL after suffering from a strained left oblique during and April 18th matchup against Toronto. During his rehab assignment, he made four starts with the Knights.

Viciedo was 7-14 with three doubles in his last four games prior to his injury. He's hitting .229 with two home runs and five RBI in 13 appearances this season.

Danks has appeared in nine games with the South Siders this season, going 3-15 with one home run and two RBI.
