President Barack Obama isn't shy about letting everyone know that he is a big-time Chicago White Sox fan. Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell is the latest to hear about it.

The president called Farrell to congratulate him and his team on winning the World Series on Tuesday afternoon. The Red Sox beat the National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals in six games.

President Obama let the Boston manager know about the amount of Red Sox fans on staff at the White House.

"I suspect that if a poll was taken in the White House, Red Sox fans would predominate,” the president said. ”For some reason, we've just got a lot of Sox fans here, and they're not the right color Sox, from my perspective.”
