David Kaplan runs down another Best and Worst of the week that was in sports from the AT&T U-verse lounge.

The best:

The White Sox signed first baseman Jose Abreu to a six-year, $68 million deal Thursday, drumming up interest in a team that lost 99 games in 2013.

Kap loves the bold decision-making from the White Sox front office, even if that spells the end for fan favorite and Sox captain Paul Konerko on the South Side.

The worst:

Indianapolis Colts owner and CEO Jim Irsay put his foot in his mouth this week after criticizing longtime Colts quarterback Peyton Manning for only winning one Super Bowl in Indy.
