ESPN recently crowned Bryce Harper the most overrated player in baseball, though White Sox ace Chris Sale doesn't agree with it.

ESPN the Magazine recently polled 143 players anonymously, and when asked who the most overrated player in baseball is Harper's name won the vote (of course, as Hardball Talk's Craig Calcaterra pointed out, "overrated" was never defined and can be interpreted in a few different ways).

Either way, Sale doesn't think Harper -- who won the 2012 National League Rookie of the Year and has 42 home runs, 29 steals and a .834 OPS in his first two years in the majors -- is deserving of that label.

"You're talking about a guy that's been an All-Star and he's 20, 21 now," Sale said on "Kap & Haugh" on The Game 87.7-FM Wednesday. "He brings energy to his team and he's a fun player to watch. If he's overrated, then I should probably just quit now."
