Buying a duck boat along with making the rounds on national television, Boston Red Sox pitcher Jake Peavy is making the most out of winning his first World Series.
The Former Chicago White Sox pitcher joined ESPN’s “College Game Day” as a celebrity guest picker. He was on location in Tuscaloosa, AL, the home of the University of Alabama.
The Mobile, AL native picked his home state team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, to beat the LSU Tigers in Saturday’s night game.
"With this crowd, there's no way Alabama loses," Peavy told panelists Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, who also picked Alabama to win.
Peavy is under contract with the Red Sox through the 2014 season.
