On July 27, Frank Thomas was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Now you can relive the ceremony and experience tons of behind-the-scenes footage in the Comcast SportsNet special "Frank Thomas — Class of 2014," set to air Aug. 16 at 9:30 p.m.

As Comcast SportsNet prepares to take a look back at Frank Thomas' big weekend in Cooperstown, some fellow Hall of Famers remember back to their years together on the field and discuss all that the Big Hurt brought to Major League Baseball.

Cal Ripken Jr., who stopped by the AT&T U-verse Lounge to promote the Under Armour All-America Game at Wrigley Field, recalls what it was like to compete against Thomas and discusses his competitive nature and strong knowledge of the game.

"He was always very jovial, really harsh competitor, but he had the ability to kind of stay relaxed and during that period of time, he had one of the best runs," Ripken said.

"Powerful guys, power to all fields and one of the best clutch hitters I've seen. So he was fun to compete against."
