CSN's Chuck Garfien and Bill Melton weigh in on whether the White Sox will become buyers or sellers after the All-Star break in the Road Ahead, presented by Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Honda Dealers.
Entering July, the White Sox looked like a team that would become sellers at the trade deadline. Now, not so fast.
The South Siders have won nine of their last 12 games heading into the All-Star break, with three of those victories being shutouts. Still, the White Sox are tied for last in the American League Central and sit 11 games back from the first-place Kansas City Royals.

But those same Royals will be coming into U.S. Cellular Field for a four-game stint beginning Friday, and it may decide whether the White Sox will become buyers or sellers on July 31.
"We'll have to wait and see," Melton said. "It's just a guessing game. But you've got to beat the Royals if you expect to become some kind of a wild card."
