Thanks to a powerful "derecho" storm system that rolled through Chicago Monday night, the White Sox and Angels will play a straight doubleheader Tuesday.

Torrential rains, heavy winds and frequent lightning forced the postponement of Monday's White Sox-Angels tilt, the first game of a six-game homestand for the White Sox. The first game of Tuesday's doubleheader will begin at 4:10 p.m. and the second game will start at 7:10 p.m. or 30 minutes after the final out of the first game.

Monday's starters -- Hector Noesi and Garrett Richards -- will square off in Game 1 while Scott Carroll will oppose Jered Weaver in Game 2. John Danks will square off against Tyler Skaggs on Wednesday.

The White Sox are offering fans the opportunity to exchange their tickets and parking passes to Monday's game for any future regular season home game.
