LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Hawk Harrelson isn’t headed to Cooperstown just yet.
Texas Rangers announcer Eric Nadel received the 2014 Ford C. Frick Award on Wednesday, awarded annually to a broadcaster for “major contributions to the game.”

Harrelson, the White Sox broadcaster each of the last 22 seasons with 35 years behind the microphone overall, was one of 10 finalists for the award. It’s the second time in Harrelson’s career he had been a Frick finalist.
