White Sox infielder Micah Johnson has successful surgery

White Sox infielder Micah Johnson had successful surgery on his left knee, the team announced Thursday.

The exploratory arthroscopic knee surgery removed scar tissue and revealed the knee to be structurally sound.

Johnson is expected to be full go come spring training and could factor into the White Sox infield plans for 2016.

Johnson played in 36 games with the White Sox this season, posting a .230/.306/.270 slash line with four doubles and four RBIs in his first taste of major league action.

In 78 games at Triple-A Charlotte, Johnson put up a .315/.375/.466 slash line with eight homers, 17 doubles, 36 RBIs and 28 stolen bases.
