White Sox fans, you aren't going to want to be around U.S. Cellular Field in September.

Prior to the team's second-to-last home game against the Kansas City Royals on Sept. 27, the White Sox will honor Paul Konerko's illustrious career on the South Side with a celebratory ceremony of the legacy he has left both on and off the field.

The White Sox will be honoring the six-time All-Star, who has been with the club since 1999, throughout the month of September. The team has launched a special webpage (WhiteSox.com/Konerko) that includes a 60-second video, thanking the captain for his accomplishments in Chicago. It also reenacts some of his most memorable moments in a White Sox uniform, and is certainly something to check out.

The team is also planning a handful of fan giveaways for the 11 home games throughout the month. Fans who purchase tickets in the new "Club Konerko" in sections 158 and 159 will receive a Paul Konerko collectible and a "Thank You, Paulie" sign. You can check out the webpage designated for Konerko for the full list of giveaways throughout the month, which includes t-shirts, lapel pins, drawstring bags, golf towels and more.

You can also send your farewell wishes to Konerko as part of a social media video project by using #ThanksPK. The White Sox are asking fans to send photos of their favorite Konerko memories on Twitter or Instragram, using the hashtag, between now and Sept. 13.
