The White Sox have placed outfielder Adam Eaton on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday with a strained right oblique.

Eaton was removed from Wedneday's game after crashing into the right field wall. He took Thursday off and returned Friday against the Mariners, but exited after his first at-bat.

This isn't the first time Eaton has spent some time on the DL. He landed on the 15-day DL earlier this season with a leg injury.

As a result, the White Sox have recalled Jordan Danks from Triple-A Charlotte. Danks has played in 21 games this season for the White Sox and only has four hits in 41 at-bats.
