White Sox reshuffle rotation after Sunday's rainout

MINNEAPOLIS -- They’re reorganizing the rotation after Sunday’s rainout, but the White Sox won’t skip anyone.

Aside from Chris Sale, who appears to be tentatively scheduled for Friday’s opener against the Tampa Bay Rays, everyone in the White Sox rotation has been pushed back at least a day courtesy of Sunday’s postponement.

Jose Quintana is throwing in Monday’s game at Target Field with Carlos Rodon pushed back two days to Wednesday and Mat Latos set for Thursday. Instead of pushing back John Danks one day to Friday, White Sox manager Robin Ventura said he thinks they’d keep Sale on normal rest and move Danks to Saturday.

“I think we’re leaning that way as of right now,” Ventura said. “We have an off day to tamper with.”

Though they were off Sunday and again on Tuesday, the White Sox won’t skip anyone’s turn as they begin a stretch with 19 games in 19 days on Wednesday.
