White Sox

Nate Jones, who is recovering from reconstructive elbow surgery last July, is set to throw off a mound in a bullpen session on Wednesday.
Jeff Samardzija gave up four home runs in the White Sox 6-3 loss to the Cubs at Sloan Park in Cactus League play on Friday afternoon.
Chris Sale is already at the point where he’d feel comfortable pitching in a game and could pitch in a minor league game next week, though the decision hasn’t been made by the coaching staff.
