The White Sox haven’t played above .500 baseball through the end of April since 2009, and while a slow start may not doom their chances, they know it can make all the difference come October.

    Brent Morel took himself out of a Triple-A game Thursday night and now he will be seeing a spine specialist in Chicago on Monday. Robin Ventura doesn't expect Morel back anytime soon.
