White Sox

Conor Gillaspie knocked in a three-run triple that propelled the White Sox to a 7-5 victory over the Royals on Tuesday, in the longest regulation game in Kansas City' history.
The White Sox defense have given away many games because of their defensive woes, but the team believes they've taken a step forward in 2014.
Scott Carroll has been sidelined with a broken fingernail, but the White Sox pitcher has showed improvement which has put him on track to play on Saturday.
