Although Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau insisted his point guard was "fine" and understudy C.J. Watson said he expected him to play in Tuesday's Game 5 Tuesday night, there is reason for concern in Chicago.

At Sunday's practice at the Berto Center, Bulls All-Star point guard Derrick Rose was in a walking boot after suffering an ankle injury during Saturday's Game 4.

According to a Bulls spokesman, postgame x-rays revealed a sprained left ankle - which Rose first asserted in postgame press conference - but while the tests were negative, Rose departed practice to undergo a precautionary MRI. The Chicago native didn't speak to reporters before leaving the organization's suburban practice facility.

Sunday was a light day for the Bulls - the team held a film session; Thibodeau and Rose reviewed game tape together before the coach spoke to the media - but Rose didn't participate in light shooting drills afterwards. If Rose were to miss Tuesday's game against the Pacers or play limited minutes, Watson would step in for him, according to Thibodeau.

Chicago currently holds a 3-1 lead over Indiana in the first-round playoff series following Saturday's loss to the Pacers. Rose suffered the injury while taking off for a layup late in the first quarter of Game 4, but returned to play early in the second period.
