‘Go Pack Go': Cutler throws support behind Green Bay

Week 17 presents a moral dilemma for Bears fans, since if Green Bay beats Minnesota and the Bears beat Detroit, the Bears will make the playoffs. But that means rooting for the team most, if not all, Bears fans grew up loathing.

But there's already one person who isn't conflicted with the choice: Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who offered up a "Go Pack Go!" on WMVP AM-1000 Monday morning when asked about having to root for Green Bay.

That cold shiver you feel is real, but it beats the cold shivers of watching playoff football in January without the Bears, right? A handful of Bears fans have already picked up on the necessary evil of Dec. 30, too:

Looking ahead to Sunday's matchup in Minneapolis, Adrian Peterson is expected to play while Randall Cobb's status is up in the air. But if it's any comfort (well, as comforting as this next line can be to Bears fans), Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith thinks the Packers are peaking and looking like legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
