Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall has racked up the accolades on the football field. And now he has something else he can add to his résumé.
Marshall is an Ivy Leaguer.
Marshall shared the news that he was accepted into Harvard Business School on his Instagram account on Tuesday evening.
Marshall later clarified on Twitter that he was admitted into The Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports Program. The BEMS is a four-day event in May that focuses on the "unique challenges of developing, distributing, and marketing a successful entertainment offering. From the National Football League and Lady Gaga, to Hulu and the Metropolitan Opera, you'll examine the crucial elements of effective talent management and entertainment business strategies. You'll emerge with a deeper understanding of the steps needed to create sustainable competitive advantage."
So fear not Bears fans, Marshall's acceptance into Harvard won't interfere with the upcoming NFL season.
