Can you imagine what would happen if HBO had a camera follow Martellus Bennett around during training camp?

The dream might become a reality according to a report from Deadspin. The popular HBO show “Hard Knocks” is searching for a new team to feature for the 2014 season, and the Bears make the short list. Late last year, the NFL passed a rule that allows the league to force a team to let HBO film their training camp sessions. But there were certain requirements that would allow teams to be exempt: recently hiring a head coach, made the playoffs in one of the two previous season or has been on the show within the past decade. The Bears qualify for none of those restrictions, grouping them with the Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers on the list of potential teams.
