There aren't any sure-fire ways to project who will lead the NFL in various statistical categories. If there were, you'd win your fantasy league every year.

But the oddsmakers in Las Vegas do take bets on such things.

According to the sportsbook Bovada, Peyton Manning is the odds-on favorite to win the MVP award, with odds of the Denver Broncos quarterback coming in at 5-1. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the next most likely to win the award, with 13-2 odds, followed by San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick (10-1), New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees (10-1), Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson (12-1) and New England quarterback Tom Brady (12-1).

And, for those wondering, the odds of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler being named the NFL MVP are 66-1. Running back Matt Forte's odds also sit at 66-1, and wide receiver Brandon Marshall's are at 100-1.

There are also odds for who will lead the league in certain stat categories. Cutler's odds to be the league's top passer are 28-1, and Forte's odds to be the leading rusher are 28-1. Marshall, per Bovada, has a better chance to be football's top receiver, with odds sitting at 9-1.

For Notre Dame fans, former Fighting Irish linebacker and current San Diego Charger Manti Te'o has 14-1 odds to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
