Michele Tafoya spoke with CSN Chicago's Jen Lada prior to the Bears-Eagles on Sunday night, and spoke about how Chip Kelly's offense had impressed her so much this season.
"If I have to give it to someone it's got to be the Eagles because of their run offense," Tafoya said. "And the Bears have really struggled defending rushing offenses back this season.
"LeSean McCoy is having a career season and I think that's going to make it very, very tough for Chicago."
Well, it appears Ms. Tafoya knew what she was talking about.
Through four drives, McCoy had seven rushes for 43 yards and a touchdown, and caught three passes for 25 yards. The Eagles led the Bears 21-0 after the first quarter.
Offense has been at an all-time high this season, and Tafoya agreed with both Chicago's and Philadelphia's line of thinking, building great offenses that can score in a hurry.
"It's getting easier for offenses because the penalties are so much harsher for defenses now, so you might as well have great offensive players who can do it for you."
