Cornerback Charles Tillman, who was unable to finish the Washington and New Orleans games and missed the New York Giants game with a knee problem, returned to practice on a limited basis Friday, while up in Green Bay, rush linebacker Nick Perry remained out of practice with a foot injury that has had him inactive for the past two games.

Tillman, tied with Tim Jennings with three interceptions, is expected to start against the Packers. For his career, Tillman has started 18 of 19 games against Green Bay, with 104 tackles, two sacks, four interceptions and six forced fumbles.

“I was happy to see Charles out there,” said coach Marc Trestman. “He worked the entire practice, got reps. He did work through the entire practice and got a number of reps and went at full speed. And that was certainly good to see.”

Perry, the Packers’ No. 1 draft choice out of USC last year, had three sacks before injuring his foot in the Packers’ win over Baltimore. Green Bay wide receiver James Jones (knee) and tight end Ryan Taylor (knee) were limited.
