Week 4 Bears Grades

There is no data to display.

Devin Hester averaged 24.5 yards on six kickoff returns and Robbie Gould converted all three of his field goal attempts (34, 28, 25 yards).

But in something of a major momentum changer, punt coverage was egregious in the second quarter, allowing Michael Spurlock to get outside bunched-up tacklers and easily gain the outside for 57 yards. That set up a go-ahead touchdown immediately after the offense squandered a possession starting at the Chicago 42.

Adam Podlesh punted five times for a 40.8-yard average, with a net of just 28.8 factoring in the Spurlock return. But Lions punter Sam Martin averaged 50 on his three punts.
