Indiana 86, Creighton 65
This was a crushing all the way through, as the Hoosiers nearly had a 20-point lead at halftime and expanded on it from there. Indiana shot 50 percent from the field and made 10 3-pointers, with James Blackmon Jr. and Nick Zeisloft each knocking down four from deep. Blackmon led the way with 19 points, also grabbing seven rebounds and handing out four assists. Thomas Bryant had 17 points, seven rebounds and four blocks. Yogi Ferrell had 15 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Iowa 89, Marquette 61
The Hawkeyes put a hurting on the Golden Eagles, holding them to just 21 points and turning the ball over just twice in the first half. Six Iowa players scored in double figures as the team shot 54.5 percent from the field and assisted on 25 of its 36 made field goals. Peter Jok had 20 points and knocked down four 3-pointers. Jarrod Uthoff added 15 points, and Mike Gesell, Anthony Clemmons and Dom Uhl combined for 10 steals.

Temple 75, Minnesota 70

The Gophers went down by nine about six and a half minutes into the second half, but Minnesota went on a 17-2 run over the next five and a half minutes to take a six-point lead, seven of those points scored by Bakary Konate. But Temple answered with a 15-2 run of its own to go up seven with about four minutes to go. Minnesota cut the lead to three in the final minute, but Temple hit its free throws to grab the win. Nate Mason scored a game-high 20 points, 11 coming from the free-throw line.
Nebraska 75, Delaware 60
Thanks to a 14-point halftime lead, a 29-point second half didn't bother the Huskers much. Shavon Shields scored 21 points, handed out seven assists, grabbed five rebounds, came away with a pair of steals and blocked a shot in a do-it-all performance. Andrew White also scored 20 points, hitting four 3-pointers. Delaware State out-shot Nebraska but missed nine free throws to keep the margin at double digits.

St. John's 61, Rutgers 59
A Mike Williams 3-pointer about five minutes into the second half gave Rutgers a 16-point lead, but a 15-6 run for St. John's over six and a half minutes cut that lead down to just five points. Two and a half minutes later, the game was tied at 58. Corey Sanders split a pair of free throws to give Rutgers a one-point lead with less than two minutes left, but that was the last score for the Knights, and three St. John's free throws gave the Red Storm an improbable comeback win. Despite out-shooting St. John's 41.7 percent to 32.3 percent and winning the turnover battle, Rutgers lost the game, making just five of its 14 free-throw attempts on the evening.
