Former Northwestern quarterback Kain Colter has helped Northwestern achieve a lot on the football field, including their first bowl win in over 60 years in 2013.
But on Tuesday, Colter testified for over six hours in the first hearing at the National Labor Relations Board as he and the College Athletes Players Association attempt to become a union.
Some of his comments came off as controversial, including comparing playing football to going to war. Other times, it seemed as if the former Wildcat was taking shots at his former team.
Chicago Sun-Times' Seth Gruen joined SportsTalk Live to discuss Colter's comments from Tuesday's hearing.
