Before Tuesday night’s game between Northwestern and Purdue at Welsh-Ryan Arena, the Wildcats’ student section paid tribute to Tuesday’s shooting at Purdue’s campus by painting their chests to spell “Stand With Purdue”.

The tribute was organized by Northwestern Wildside, the school’s official student section.

There has been one reported death from the shooting, Andrew Boldt, 21. The alleged gunman, Cody Cousins, 23, has been taken into custody.
