Michigan's all-time leading rusher is associating himself with yet another school in the Great Lakes State.
Mike Hart, who is the Wolverines' career rushing leader with 5,040 yards, is taking over as the running backs coach at Western Michigan, per a report.
Hart spent the past two years as the running backs coach at Eastern Michigan, making this next stop the third FBS school in Michigan he'll be a part of.
The 27-year-old Hart re-wrote the record books at Michigan over an illustrious four-year career. In addition to being the career rushing record holder, Hart has more carries than any other back in Michigan history and has the record for most yards per game. Hart was the Big Ten's top rusher in his first season in 2004, rushing for 1,455 yards that year. His 1,562 yards ranked second in the conference in 2006.
Hart is also the Big Ten's fifth all-time leading rusher. He trails just Ron Dayne, Archie Griffin, Anthony Thompson and Montee Ball.
