Michigan State athletics director Mark Hollis has some big news. Maybe.

The AD has sent out a series of cryptic tweets over the past few weeks, and all have to do with '2018.'

What is Hollis tweeting about? The Detroit Free Press asked and got nowhere. Hollis' Spartans famously played a basketball game on an aircraft carrier a few years ago, launching speculation that all this strange tweeting is in reference to some upcoming sporting event in some sort of crazy location. And people across the Internet have been trying to solve this green-and-white riddle for days like it's the next sequel to the Da Vinci Code.

A windy, hot yet cold island in the United States or one of its territories would seem to narrow the guess down. Online guesses have ranged from a basketball game on Alcatraz to a football game in Puerto Rico.

The "windy" remark even sparked one guess that Chicago could be the location, given that Windy City nickname and all. Chicago islands? Goose? Northerly? Blue? Not the most iconic sites for a basketball and/or football game, but given Hollis' short bursts of cryptic info, anything is possible.
