You might hardly be able to recognize Welsh-Ryan Arena next season.
We already knew that the home of Northwestern hoops would be getting new video boards, making the arena significantly more modern.
But now, as Northwestern tweeted out Tuesday, the Cats will be playing on a brand-spanking-new floor, too. Well, the court design will be different, at the very least.

Northwestern's challenge for 100 retweets was met within half an hour, meaning we'll be getting a look at the design Wednesday.

Until then, though, it's total speculation as to what the court could look like. Will it be wild and crazy? Purple, perhaps? Maybe take a page out of Oregon's book and use some of the natural landscape, throwing the shape of Lake Michigan on the floor? The Chicago skyline is always an option for Chicago's Big Ten team? Maybe just a giant Wildcat?

My vote, though, is for Chris Collins' face to grace center court. Preferably this one:
