After the Blackhawks scored two goals in 17 seconds to solidify their Game 6 Stanley Cup victory, a celebration erupted 1,000 miles from Boston as fans poured into the streets of Chicago.
The Blackhawks' record-breaking 2013 campaign was enough to bring fans -- new and old -- together after the lockout and through a six-month journey to being named champions. But in Boston, fans were feeling the opposite effect, and some were even left wondering why they're so passionate about the sport in the first place.
