The Blackhawks will begin their 2013 training camp at the University of Notre Dame, with the first practice at 10 a.m. on Sept. 12 at Compton Family Ice Arena.

The team will spend its first four training camp days (Sept. 12-15) at the university. Practices begin at 10 a.m. each day. The Blackhawks will return to Chicago on Sept. 16, when they’ll have their annual training camp festival at the United Center. Doors to that event open at 5 p.m., with the scrimmage beginning at 7 p.m. The Mad Dash to Madison 10K starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the 5K run/walk at 6:30 p.m.

All race participants will receive a Jonathan Toews bobblehead. For registration and more information, visit chicagoblackhawks.com.
