For a majority of the regular season, the Blackhawks were the consistent favorites to win the Stanley Cup, according to the oddsmakers at Bovada.
But as we near the second round of the playoffs, the Blackhawks now rank second among the top teams, just behind the New York Rangers.

Now, these numbers will soon look slightly different after the Red Wings and Lightning face off in Game 7 of their first-round series later tonight.
The Rangers kick off their series against the Capitals on Thursday night before the Blackhawks host the Wild on Friday. As both series play out, we'll see just how much Bovada's numbers will be affected.
