NHL to host pregame festival at Stadium Series game

On Monday, the NHL announced it will hold a free hockey and fan entertainment festival outside at Soldier Field on Saturday, March 1 from 3-7 p.m. prior to the start of the Stadium Series matchup between the Blackhawks and Penguins.

There will be a number of hockey-themed attractions, prizes and giveaways outside at Soldier Field, plus merchandise stands with the latest Stadium Series apparel.

In addition, Chicago-based band The Hot Sauce Committee will put on a live performance.

The Stadium Series game will take place Saturday night at 7 p.m.
