Joel Quenneville has normally been on the winning side of last second heroics. But that hasn't been the case as of late.
Less than an hour after the Blackhawks blew their second consecutive one-goal lead against the St. Louis Blues in the winding seconds, Quenneville's horse — Midnight Hawk — placed second at the Illinois Derby at Hawthorne Race Course in an extremely tight race.
The 3-year old Midnight Hawk was favored to win 4-5 among eight horses, but Dynamic Impact took home first by a ... mustache. Literally.
