After sustaining a lower-body injury in the matchup against the St. Louis Blues Wednesday night at the United Center, Patrick Kane is set to miss the next three weeks of play, causing the Blackhawks find ways to win without him. And with Kane arguably playing some of the best hockey of his career -- even being in MVP conversations, the Hawks will have to dig deep to continue on through while their star player is sidelined.
Luckily they have played well in the past when others went down like Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews. But this squad will definitely miss him.
Now the waiting game on Kane’s return officially begins.
