Corey Crawford thought he was going to get Wednesday night off.

Instead, he pulled off what just might be the best save of his career.
Ray Emery got the start in net for the Blackhawks against the Oilers, but had to leave late in the first period with a lower-body injury. Crawford came in off the bench, ice-cold, and proceeded to shut down the Oilers, turning away every Edmonton shot on the evening.
But it was one save that really stood out. With a little over 12 minutes remaining in the second period, Crawford showed off his cat-like reflexes.
