Ray Emery skated some before the Blackhawks took the ice, but he and Dave Bolland have been ruled out for tomorrow when the Blackhawks face the Minnesota Wild in Game 2 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series.

Emery (lower body) was working early at Johnny's IceHouse West on Thursday. It was his first skate/practice since he left during the first period of the Blackhawks' victory over Edmonton last week. As for Bolland, he did not skate or practice with the Blackhawks today. Coach Joel Quenneville is hoping Bolland will be back on the ice soon.

"We’re going to rule them out (for Friday)," Quenneville said. "Ray was out there today. Bolland didn’t skate but he’s close to being on the ice. (Ray) felt good, too, so there was good progress for him.

As for whether Emery and/or Bolland will travel to Minnesota for Game 3 on Sunday, Quenneville said, "we’ll visit with that tomorrow. They're likely coming."
